Guest Information & House Guidelines

Musashi Japanese Cuisine

Thank you for choosing Musashi Japanese Restaurant.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all our guests, please kindly note the following:

1. Reservations

We kindly ask guests to arrive on time for their reservation.
Tables will be held for up to 15 minutes after the booking time.

2. Cancellation Policy

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or amend your booking.
For groups of 6 or more, cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

3. Prepayment for Large Groups

For reservations of 15 guests or more, a prepayment of $25 per person is required, to be made one day prior to the booking date.

4. Seating Requests (Inside / Outside)

We will do our best to accommodate your seating preferences.
Please note that our outdoor seating area is uncovered and may not be suitable during rainy or windy conditions.
We kindly ask guests to consider the weather on the day of their booking when choosing to dine outside.

5. Dining Duration

Lunch: Dining time is limited to 1 hour. Exceptions may be made for larger groups where possible.

Dinner: Dining time ranges from 90 to 120 minutes, depending on group size.
During peak periods, a standard 90-minute limit will apply.

6. Behaviour and Noise Policy

To maintain a pleasant dining environment, we kindly ask guests to keep noise at an appropriate level.
If a group becomes excessively loud or disruptive, we may request a reduction in volume.
In extreme cases, we reserve the right to ask guests to leave the premises.

7. Alcohol Policy

In accordance with our alcohol licence regulations:

  • ID checks may be required.

  • Alcohol service will cease 30 minutes before closing time.

We appreciate your full compliance with all applicable laws.

8. Food Allergies

We take great care to accommodate food allergies and dietary requirements wherever possible.
However, due to shared kitchen environments, traces of allergens such as gluten or other ingredients may still be present.

While we make every effort to prevent cross-contamination, Musashi Japanese Restaurant cannot accept full responsibility for allergic reactions.
Guests with severe allergies are encouraged to consult our staff before ordering.

9. Lost Property

We retain lost property for a period of one month.
Items unclaimed after this period will be disposed of.

While we take reasonable care in handling lost items, we cannot guarantee the complete prevention of damage or loss.
If an item presents safety concerns—such as unusual noise, overheating, or liquid leakage—the restaurant may dispose of it immediately, at its discretion.

We take care to protect any personal information contained within lost property; however, we cannot guarantee complete privacy.

To avoid misunderstandings or disputes during the return process, we may ask guests to verify details such as:

  • date and time of dining

  • table number

  • personal information (when necessary)
